Some pictures from the performance...A bit of bad luck with cameras has meant I've not got as many photos as hoped, but thanks to Lynne B and Sarah R for these.

Players were well received as the last act of a musical evening held at St.Mary's Church, Belford which was brought together by Steve Newman and which also featured the Middle School Orchestra, John 'Seymour' Reid (Singing & Guitar), folk group Below The Salt and Belford Woodwind.

The Players' act told the tale, in a short play with songs, of a family whose alcoholic father is rescued from the ravages of the Demon Drink by the efforts of the Temperance Belles, fronted by Battling Bertha. From a personal point of view the opportunity to play a rolling drunk in church was not to be missed so Honest Edward I became. Great fun!
